The player must defend a special star, without which they will die. Our plan was to have multiple characters and weapons the player can select before playing each session, this is an endless RPG with multipl weapons the player can choose to use, there are powerups throughout the game along with a series of mechanics that help with the defeat of the enemy.Process
Art/Visuals: The art was created using Maya and Procreate. Many complex 3D models were made, including the main environment, trees, houses, weapons, and monsters, which were then placed into the main map. A short 2D cutscene was also created in Procreate by our 2D artist.
Sound/Music: The music was produced using BandLab, while sound effects were sourced online and edited using Audacity. All audio was refined to better fit the atmosphere and gameplay.
Code: The programming was shared between two developers. I worked on weapon systems and enemy AI, while the other programmer focused on player movement and integrating all systems together. The codebase was complex and required careful coordination throughout the project.
